I love to read and I love to teach reading and writing and math.  In kindergarten you will understand math concepts by doing hands on math activities in centers every day.  We will be reading stories and writing about things we have done in our draftbooks.  Kindergarten is fun and you will learn so much.

Parents - be sure and have your child read the book he/she brings home each night three times.  Also have him/her retell the story to increase comprehension.  Go over all math papers brought home and have your child tell you what they are doing in math.
